MCLEAN, Va., Feb. 21, 2006 - Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc. today
announced the appointment of Jeanine Korm Glendon as Director of Sales
& Marketing for The Churchill Hotel in Washington, DC. The historic
and upscale hotel includes 144 guest rooms and 2,200 square feet of meeting
space. The elegant boutique property was recently purchased by Highland
Hospitality Corporation, a Virginia-based real estate investment trust
(REIT). Highland Hospitality appointed Crestline Hotels & Resorts the
management Company.
Ms. Glendon joins Crestline from the SAS Corporation in Tysons Corner, VA where she served as executive director for the real estate holding company and export trading business. Prior to that Ms. Glendon was associate director of sales for The Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner. Ms. Glendon has 20 years of sales management experience and an extensive hospitality industry background. "As an independent hotel, The Churchill relies on its reputation and personal service to fulfill the high expectations of its guests," said Vicki Denfeld, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Crestline Hotels & Resorts.
