Joe Blee, Expert Waterpark Insurance Advisor, Helps Developers
Navigate From Start To (Successful) Finish
.

Minneapolis, MN February 17, 2006 - Joe Blee, an industry leader in insurance consultation for indoor waterparks, will share his insights at the Hotel Waterpark Resort Conference on March 10, 2006, in Indianapolis.

The conference is sponsored by American Consulting, Inc. and recognized by the World Waterpark Association. Up to 125 of the hotel and resort industrys top developers and investors are expected to attend.

According to Blee, only 15 hotels in the United States featured an indoor waterpark in 2000. That number will rise to more than 125 hotels in 2006, and by 2008 there should be close to 250 American hotels boasting indoor waterparks.

At the March conference, Blee plans to outline the importance of partnering with an experienced insurance advisor when wading into waterpark development, and how to bring the insurance discussion to the design table.

Too often developers wait until the end to begin thinking about insurance, said Blee. By then they may have made some critical design decisions that will ultimately cost them more in insurance, or make their project a less attractive risk for insurers.

Blee is a nationally-recognized expert in creating customized insurance programs for all waterpark operators. He specializes in helping developers, designers and operators look at the whole project when considering insurance. By doing so, Blee makes navigating the twists and turns of the waterpark experience safer, less costly and more enjoyable.

Joe Blee is a partner with Christensen Group, an independent insurance agency based in Minnetonka, Minnesota. His background also includes experience with the construction, commercial real estate, and hospitality industries.
