Uniguest Provides PC Clean Up and Remote Install
of Its Hotel Business Center Security Software
.
Nashville, TN, Uniguest of Tennessee, Inc. October 11, 2005 - In an effort to assist hotel properties that offer computer workstation access for guests, Uniguest is rolling out a national service that provides both remote PC clean up and remote installation of its security software offering for hotel business center computer workstations.

Today, there are thousands of hotels across the country that offers one or more PC workstations to guests as a complimentary amenity, says Shawn Thomas, President and CEO of Uniguest. There are also thousands of hotels that spend countless hours cleaning up their PCs from users modifying the system. This includes guests downloading unwanted software, removing software, downloading mature content, modifying security settings, modifying Internet settings and much more. Uniguest is proud to be an innovator and offer a way for properties to minimize their ongoing tangible and intangible costs by having their PC cleaned up and then installed with our security software. This drastically reduces downtime both during the installation process and on an ongoing basis. We are very pleased to be the first provider offering this type of service.

How does it work? Uniguest works with the property to install special software that allows remote control of their PC. This process takes as little as five minutes. Uniguest then logs into the PC to clean it up and install Uniguests security software application. Clean up includes spyware removal, removing of unwanted software, virus checks and removal if possible, and general PC clean up. It also includes updating all operation system and office application updates.

Uniguest is the largest provider of security software solutions and support for free to guest business center workstations. Focus is on providing the most cost effective solution for automated public PC workstations while maintaining high levels of uptime. Uniguest was recently awarded a national contract with a prestigious hotel chain that marked an industry first and has sparked new hotel property awareness of security software offerings for business center PC workstations.

We needed to provide our guests with a business center PC in order for us to remain competitive in our hotels, says Martin Hanson, Information Technology Director for Leisure Hotels & Resorts. Our concern was not having to worry about spyware, viruses and providing our guests with a quality and safe computing environment. Uniguest was the logical choice. Their system provided us with the peace of mind and our guests with a quality product. Best of all, with their professional support service, hotel staff do not have to worry about maintaining the PC and can focus on their normal tasks.

For hotel properties that already have an existing business center workstation for guests, you can contact Uniguest at [email protected] for information on how to utilize this new service. For more information on Uniguests services, please visit www.uniguest.com.
