Kimpton Hotels Signs with IDeaS

Minneapolis Minnesota and San Francisco California - October 10, 2005 – IDeaS, the leading provider of revenue optimization solutions and one of the industry’s fastest growing technology companies has announced that Kimpton Hotels has signed with IDeaS Revenue Optimization. The product is being initially rolled out to 3 of its 39 hotels. Those hotels are, The Sir Francis Drake Hotel in SanFrancisco, the Hotel Monaco in Chicago and the Hotel Monaco in Denver. 

IDeaS is a strong fit for the Kimpton group, which takes pride in maintaining its competitive edge through strong regional revenue management,  and therefore desires to equip their regional managers with effective tools to centrally  manage their channels and control their respective clusters of hotels.

IDeaS Centralized Control Module was specifically designed to address the unique needs of the multi-property environment allowing the hotelier to see their data across multiple properties in a clear, accurate and timely manner.

Cluster Yielding:
  • Hotels can be grouped according to the business needs of the operation with user-defined flexibility. Regardless if the hotel tracks by geography (region, city), hotel type, ownership, or a customized method, any combination of hotel properties can be included to optimize demand and increase revenue and profitability.
Consolidated Reporting:
  • A spectrum of reports are included to deliver a clear view of data across multiple properties. These reports are tunable to support the revenue management culture and systems already in place at the hotel.
