CHICAGO (October 20, 2005) -- Hotel Technology Next Generation (HTNG)
today announced the appointment of Gustaaf Schrils, Vice President of Hotel
Technology and Services, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), the Americas,
to its Board of Directors. This appointment, which fills a vacancy,
was taken by the Board at its October 6, 2005, meeting in London.
Mr. Schrils� appointment rounds out the HTNG Board to its maximum size
of 10 senior hotel technology executives.
Nick Price, Chief Technology Officer of Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group and President of HTNG said, �HTNG is very privileged to have the opportunity to extend its relationship with one of the world�s most influential hotel companies. He was promoted to Vice President of Hotel Technology and Services in 2000. He oversees hotel-based technology services for the Americas Region with responsibility measuring well over the tens of millions of dollars. Mr. Schrils holds a B.A. in Computer Engineering and a Masters degree in Engineering Management from Florida Institute of Technology. HTNG�s board of directors consists exclusively of hotel company executives with senior level technology responsibility, representing a wide range of large, midsized, and small hotel companies operating in every market segment and every geographic region of the world.
