ATLANTA,
Oct. 13, 2005 - Solis Hotels and Resorts, a new luxury hotel and resort
brand based here, has named 20-year hotel industry veteran Frank Ashmore
as Director of Sales & Marketing for its flagship resort, Montelucia,
a Solis Resort & Spa set in Paradise Valley, Arizona (Phoenix/Scottsdale
area). The Solis brand was created in response to discerning guests'
quest for comfortable and enlightened experiences.
"Frank brings a distinguished record of achievement to our organization,"
said Horst Schulze, president and CEO of Solis Hotels and Resorts.
"Frank's experience and leadership will ensure Montelucia's successful
introduction to the community, as well as guests and owners from around
the world. We aim to establish a world-class sales organization and
set the highest standards for our Solis brand, the properties carrying
our name, and company."
Ashmore will oversee Montelucia's sales, marketing, advertising and
public relations after spending more than 16 years with the Ritz-Carlton
Hotel Company, LLC, where he earned the Director of Sales and Marketing
of the Year award in 2004, along with several other honors throughout his
career. Ashmore is known for his creativity and support of local
charitable organizations.
