provider of Web-based solutions for the hospitality industry has hired
Internet distribution expert Eric Chapman as Vice President of Sales.
He is responsible for all sales management and business development strategy
for the company.
Mr. Chapman brings sixteen years of experience to his position at Blue Square Studios. Most recently he was Director of Sales for Datalex PLC, a leader in Internet distribution platforms for airlines, hotels, train systems and other travel industry companies. Prior to that he was Vice President for Tickets.com, one of the leading providers of sports entertainment and travel content, event information and related services. While there, Mr. Chapman maintained triple-digit, quarter-to-quarter growth in activity and revenue for the travel segment of that site.
Mr. Chapman began his career with Worldspan, the travel industry information technology provider with operations in 35 countries. As Sales Manager -- National Accounts between 1989 and 1997, Mr. Chapman led the startup of a new department serving the specific needs of the Company's largest accounts and made the department Worldspan's most profitable within its first year. He is a graduate of the University of Nebraska.
