Orlando, Fla. October 5, 2005 Members of InterContinental Hotels Groups Priority Club® Rewards have named Nickelodeon Family Suites by Holiday Inn Best Holiday Inn North America, a major achievement for the newly redesigned resort which combines two widely successful brands, Nickelodeon and Holiday Inn.

Members of Priority Club Rewards, the industry's first and largest hotel loyalty program with more than 26-million members, cast their ballots for the Best Holiday Inn North America as part of the Priority Club Rewards Members ChoiceTM Awards from February-May 2005, selecting from more than 1,000 Holiday Inn properties in the U.S, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.  The prestigious award was presented during a special ceremony at the annual InterContinental Hotels Group Americas Investors & Leadership Conference in Las Vegas, Sept. 20-22.

The hotel has continued to deliver above-and-beyond expectations, including overall services, staff, accommodations, dining and amenities, as it provides the ultimate kid-friendly vacation experience.

This award is a testament that families have really bought into the Nickelodeon Family Suites by Holiday Inn concept of messy, wild, good old family fun, said Terry Whaples, president and operating partner of the hotel.  Receiving this award is a wonderful honor because it proves that we truly provided an unforgettable vacation experience.

Formerly the Holiday Inn Family Suites Resort Lake Buena Vista, the hotel completed a $25 million transformation this May to become the worlds first Nick-themed hotel.  The hotel has won the Best Holiday Inn North America award each year since it opened in 2001.

Nickelodeon Family Suites by Holiday Inn features 2- and 3-Bedroom KidSuites units, each with a separate parlor area that includes a 25 TV, pull-out sofa and game table; an adult bedroom with a king- or queen-size bed; and a Nick-themed kids bedroom with two twin beds or bunk beds, 20 TV, and more.  Each KidSuite features themes and characters from top-rated Nickelodeon shows including: SpongeBob SquarePants, Rugrats, The Fairly OddParents, Jimmy Neutron, and Danny Phantom.
Two Nick-themed courtyards each include a multi-story play structure with waterslides, flumes, poolside games, and erupting geysers.  One of the pools highlights the ultimate splashdown under a 400-gallon dump tank.  The Mall, which is the hub of all activity for the hotel, features a food court with nationally branded eateries, and Studio Nick, a million dollar state-of-the-art theater presenting live, interactive Nickelodeon entertainment for families.  Kids can enjoy The Arcade, a 3,000-square-foot game room with prizes and a movie and game rental shop; and, Nicktoons Café where daily character breakfasts take place featuring select favorite Nick characters including SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer, and Cosmo and Wanda from The Fairly OddParents.  In addition, a Kids Spa features services such as hair braiding, hair wraps and temporary tattoos.
