PMS at New York Hotel Show , V1Net is designed for limited service properties, chains, and multi-site management companies |
ROCKVILLE, MD (USA) November 9,
2005 Visual One Systems Corporation, a leading supplier of management
software to the hospitality industry since 1977, will be demonstrating
their web-based PMS software, called V1Net, at the International Hotel/Motel
& Restaurant Show at the Jacob Javits Center this coming week, November
13-15. Operating within a browser, V1Net uses dot net technology.
Users merely bring up their Internet browser, log-in to their URL, and
perform everything from reservations to check-in/out to guest history,
receivables, and more.
V1Net operates within a standard Internet browser and is designed for limited service hotels, hotel chains, management companies that prefer to maintain all of their properties data on a central server. V1Net is perfect for individual hotels, too, that want a low-cost entry into state-of-the-art-technology for their front office operations. Among V1Nets features are front office, reservations, package plans, group management, guest history, housekeeping, travel agency commissions, interfaces to hundreds of other systems, and more. "V1Net is the sixth, full, PMS system that we have developed in our 27 year history, says David Burroughs, President of Visual One Systems. It is a new-generation system based on the latest Microsoft dot-net technology. V1Net addresses the operational needs of hotels of all sizes, and is an excellent solution for the IT centralization needs of multi-property operations." V1Net offers the ultimate in flexibility both from an operations standpoint and a licensing standpoint: the software can be hosted by a web-hosting service or it can be operated locally on a standard, Microsoft SQL Server computer. And, the software can be licensed based on occupancy levels or an outright purchase price. V1Net is not a replacement for V1s premier property management software. V1s core product line, which will continue to be marketed to 4- and 5-star properties, includes the Visual One Systems property management software, sales & catering software, restaurant and retail point-of-sale, back-office accounting, condominium accounting; central reservations, spa and facilities management, club management, and golf course management. All of V1s software products use Microsofts SQL Server database.
