Nov. 29, 2005 � Desires Hotels�, the boutique division of Tecton Hospitality,
announced today that it has signed a contract to manage The Betsy Ross
Hotel in Miami Beach, Fla.
Located at 1440 Ocean Drive, the 61-room beachfront Art Deco hotel is known as a colonial masterpiece and offers guest the true SOBE experience. It features a swimming pool, ocean view rooms and an indoor/outdoor cafe and bar. �As we continue to expand our Desires boutique hotel portfolio, we�re looking to add those one-of-a kind hotels, like The Betsy Ross Hotel, that offer guests the type of personalized service they desire,� said Raul Leal, president of Tecton Hospitality. � Tecton Hospitality provides a wide range of management services to both institutional and individual owners of hotels in the United States and Caribbean. The Miami-based company operates branded hotels, including full-service properties and resorts under the Sheraton, Marriott, Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn and Best Western names, as well as boutique hotels through the Desires boutique-hotels division. In addition to The Betsy Ross Hotel, the Desires portfolio currently includes the award-winning 84-room Water Club in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the 50-room Aqua Hotel, the 66-room Wave Hotel, the 83-room Circa 39 and the 40-room Astor Hotel in Miami Beach, Fla., and the soon-to-be-open 110-room Glenn Hotel in Atlanta, Ga. |
