 Coastal Hotel Group Names Roger Brown General Manager
of Chateau Avalon in Kansas City, Kansas

KANSAS CITY, Kan., December 9, 2005� Yogi Hutsen, President & CEO of Seattle-based Coastal Hotel Group, today announced that Roger Brown has been named general manager of Chateau Avalon, a 62-room luxury hotel located in Village West near Cabela�s, Nebraska Furniture Mart, and the Kansas Speedway. 

Prior to joining Chateau Avalon, Brown was general manager of the Holiday Inn Macon Conference Center in Macon, Georgia. Brown began his career in the hospitality industry in 1975 after attending Indiana University. He then went on to manage numerous hotels and resorts throughout the Southeastern U.S.
