The Wisconsin Innkeepers Association Creates Web Site for
the Traveling Public Featuring Its 1,000+ Lodging Members
.

Brookfield, WI - September 28th, 2005 - The Wisconsin Innkeepers Association (WIA) recently unveiled its new web site at WisconsinLodging.info. The site, aimed at the traveling public, features over 1,000 WIA-member lodging properties. The WIA is the fourth-largest state lodging association in the country and is a Partner State Association of the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA).

WisconsinLodging.info is marketed as a one-stop shop for business and leisure accommodations in Wisconsin. Lodging properties on WisconsinLodging.info are searchable by region, type of property, and on-site property amenities. Participating properties may also provide a direct link to their online reservation site and allow visitors to purchase Gift Certificates.

In addition to the Gift Certificate program, properties can market themselves on the Featured Properties page, accessed from the main page of the site.

As a special service to meeting planners, the WIA features properties with meeting space at WisconsinLodging.info. The site displays a visual diagram of space and a chart referencing various room set-up capacities. Hotlinks and other contact information further promote each property's meeting space.

"WisconsinLodging.info is a tremendous benefit for our member properties," said Trisha A. Pugal, CAE, President, CEO, "and we have received overwhelmingly positive comments on the new site from lodging properties and travelers alike."

New WIA Member Section Debuts

The WIA has also created a brand new site loaded with information for its members. (By clicking on the member page graphic, you will be taken directly to the new site.) Another way to access the page is to go to wisconsinlodging.info and click on the WIA logo at the bottom of the main page.

The member section provides everything from WIA event information, to marketing a lodging property, to industry vendors and contact information. Everything is designed to give easier access to the information and be one click away.

The Wisconsin Innkeepers Association (WIA) represents over 1,000 hotels, motels, resorts, inns, hotel condos, and bed & breakfasts throughout Wisconsin. Established in 1896, the WIA provides marketing, education, legislative, and information services to Wisconsins lodging industry.
