Over 200 Attendees, Minimal Cancellations, Sets Record for V1 |
ROCKVILLE, MD (USA) September 28, 2005
Visual One Systems Corporation, a supplier of management software to
the hospitality industry since 1977, held its Users Conference at the
exclusive Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, Florida from September 21 to 23
despite threatening storms from Hurricane Rita. Though some registrants
were unable to attend due to the closing of Miami International Airport,
most of Visual Ones clients persevered; giving V1s its largest Users
Conference in history.
Only Tuesday nights welcome reception was cancelled. A full slate of seminars and open sessions were held with topics including:
It was my privilege to attend the V1 Users Conference in Key Largo. I must say that your team at V1 put on a good show! said Melissa Cole, Senior Accountant at the National Conference Center in Lansdowne, VA. James Harrison, Group Operations Manager at Seymour Hotels in Jersey, Channel Islands in Europe said, Many thanks to all of those involved for a most enjoyable and educational conference. It has certainly left us with some opportunities to make more of the system. The operations team at the Ocean Reef Club lived up to their first-class reputation, ensuring a valuable experience for conference attendees, said Jason Rottero, Systems Specialist with the Watercolor Inn, part of the St. Joe Company in Jacksonville, FL. The conference was very thorough and in-depth. The instructors were great, - Ruben Reyes, Guest Service Manager of the Beaudry Resort in Tucson, AZ. Mark Klaschka, Director of Operations at The Kapalua Villas in Hawaii said, [It was a] very informative conference. Networking with other Visual One users was very helpful to our operational needs. Great job again this year, even though the weather didn't cooperate. Attending the Users Conference is one of the best things our company has done. It gives us an updated view of what has changed through out the previous year and where the company is going in the future. We also have input into how changes can be made in the products to make us more efficient and productive. From our companys viewpoint this is a must attend every year, says Jeff Schulz, Information Systems Director at the Grand View Lodge in Nisswa, Minnesota.
