(KHC), an Iowa based hotel development and management company recently
opened three hotels; the Courtyard by Marriott in Columbia, Missouri, the
Country Inn and Suites, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Airport, and the Country Inn
and Suites, St. Charles, Missouri.
The 134-unit Courtyard by Marriott recently opened in Columbia, Missouri, has over 6,000 square feet of meeting space, and features a 210-seat Bennigan�s Grill and Tavern, providing a casual dining experience for hotel guests, and local patrons. The hotel is located conveniently near the University of Missouri, and many other commercial demand generators in the Columbia, Missouri area. The 74-unit, Country Inn and Suites Cedar Rapids Airport, previously known as the Cedar Rapids Airport Inn, was extensively renovated and repositioned by KHC. The hotel features all of the signature items of the Country Inn and Suites brand, as well as approximately 1,500 square feet of meeting space. The hotel offers a strong focus toward the business traveler in the Cedar Rapids area with the addition of high-speed wireless internet access throughout the property. The newly constructed Country Inn and Suites, St. Charles, Missouri is located within the Historic District in St. Charles. The hotel�s architecture and design is very unique to compliment the esthetics of the St. Charles Historic District. This 84-unit hotel features an indoor pool, fitness center, business center, and small meeting room to accommodate business travelers in the St. Charles marketplace.
