Signature Worldwide Licensee Plans to
Contribute to China's Growing
Tourism Industry

.

Columbus, OH  (July 19, 2005) Signature Worldwide, a leading provider of training and business building solutions, continues to expand its global presence by licensing its programs to Asian American Training and Marketing, Inc. (AATMI), a New York-based company with offices in Beijing.  China marks Signatures seventh licensee, covering five continents and 40 countries.

According to the World Travel and Tourism Council, over the next ten years the growth of travel and tourism in China is expected to make it the fourth fastest growing travel and tourism economy in the world.  Part of this expected growth is due to the 2008 Olympics in Beijing and the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai.

As an official representative of the Chinese Hospitality Association, AATMI will offer Signature training programs throughout China as well as to members of the Chinese Hospitality Association, a growing organization of more than 300,000 hotels.  Signature offers a proven system of training and reinforcement programs designed to provide measurable results in employee behavior and customer service

Martin W. Soran, president and CEO of AATMI believes Signatures programs will have the most significant impact at the mid-level hotel sector.

The Chinese culture is already one that prioritizes customer service. If we can couple this attitude with the consistent processes and training of Western-style hospitality, many of Chinas three-star hotels will have a better chance of competing with the larger brands. The result will be more income for the mid-level hotels and more high quality, affordable options to tourists, said Soran.

The timing couldnt be better to offer this type of training program. Chinas tourism industry is gearing up for an onslaught of global visitors, said Steve Wolever, president and CEO of Signature. By putting the Signature program into place now, hotels can begin building a reputation for terrific service and benefit from this reputation during and after these major events.

Signature licensees are required to go through extensive training at the companys headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. The training program covers all of Signatures services and tools, and provides guidance in business development and marketing.  Licensees receive ongoing support and periodic training on new programs and system updates.
