LAS VEGAS- July 6, 2005-- Resorts International Holdings Inc., an affiliate of Colony Capital LLC (Resorts/Colony), the nation's largest privately held gaming company, today announced the appointment of Roger P. Wagner as its chief operating officer. Wagner served as chief operating officer of Jack Binion's Horseshoe Gaming Holding Corp. from 1998 to 2004 and led that company to unprecedented growth. Horseshoe was sold to Harrah's Entertainment in July 2004. Wagner will manage Resorts operations from its new corporate headquarters in Las Vegas. Resorts will continue to maintain offices in New York.

Nicholas L. Ribis, president, chief executive officer and vice chairman of Resorts, said the addition of Wagner is another step in adding to the already strong management team at Resorts. "Roger Wagner is one of the top gaming executives in the country, an exceptional talent who builds bottom line success while focusing on providing the highest quality customer service," Ribis said. "Wagner is uniquely qualified to take our company to the next level."

According to Wagner, "Resorts International Holdings has grown by identifying attractive properties in strategic markets and managing by focusing on customer service, efficiency and profitability. I look forward to working with a company that drives efficiency, quality and gaming fun in equal measure to maximize the customer's entertainment experience."

Wagner led Horseshoe, at that time the world's largest privately held gaming company with combined annual revenues of more than $1 billion, to six years of continuous growth. Previously, Wagner served as the president and chief operating officer of Trump Castle Casino Resort in Atlantic City and president and chief operating officer of the Claridge Casino Hotel in Atlantic City. During 33 years in the hospitality and gaming industry, Wagner has held executive positions at many legendary properties, including the Dunes, Frontier, MGM Grand and the Sands in Las Vegas.

Resorts International Holdings is an affiliate of Colony Capital LLC. Colony is the only private investment firm licensed in four gaming jurisdictions: New Jersey, Nevada, Indiana and Mississippi. Colony, in partnership with Nicholas L. Ribis, has acquired Resorts Atlantic City, The Atlantic City Hilton, Las Vegas Hilton, Resorts East Chicago, Resorts Tunica and Bally's Tunica.
