| SOUTH BOSTON, VIRGINIA July 2005 - Benchmark Hospitality International
has opened the stately Berry Hill Plantation Resort. The resort is
one of the most distinctive and historic properties in the Southeastern
United States. Situated on 750 scenic acres, the former tobacco plantation
(mansion, circa 1842) has been home to some of Virginia's most distinguished
families, including Benjamin Harrison and Colonel Edward Carrington, and
is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The remarkable property offers new plantation fare with a Cajun infusion, served in the elegant Dining Room, which features an extensive wine cellar.
