Room Reservations Over Previous Year; Credits

Singapore, 30 August 2005 – The recently enhanced Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts’ website www.swissotel.com has proven to be such a hit with its customers that within seven months of its launch, room reservations made via the website have grown by 80% over previous year, outpacing the industry average of 26%. More significantly, room revenue delivered through swissôtel.com has more than doubled in the first half of the year.

The website has been enhanced to include easy-to-use reservation functions, user-friendly navigation and dynamic content in a secure environment. Visitors to the website enjoy greater ease of making room reservations (with less click throughs), exclusive special room packages and attractive promotions plus quicker access to hotel content and information. In April this year, Swissôtel Hotels and Resorts launched its internet Best Rate Guarantee where customers booking on swissotel.com are guaranteed the best rates for their hotel booking. If they find a website that is selling a lower rate than the best rate offered on swissotel.com, Swissôtel will not only match that rate but offer an additional 50% discount on that lower rate for the first night of the guest’s stay (terms and conditions apply). Since the introduction of the internet best rate guarantee, room bookings received through its website have increased tremendously, which is a clear demonstration of solid customer confidence in swissotel.com’s promise to deliver the best price for their hotel bookings.

In a move to reward its existing online customers and encourage more online shoppers to book on its website, Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts has unleashed a slew of attractive incentives including:

US$10 off Food & Beverage Bills

All customers who make their rooms reservation online will be rewarded with a US$10 credit, which they can use at any of the award-winning restaurants and bars located within the Swissôtel hotels and resorts worldwide.
