HONOLULU, Hawaii –August 12, 2005 -  Robin Harlow was recently appointed general manager for the 260-room Aqua Palms hotel, located at 1850 Ala Moana Boulevard, overseeing all aspects of property operations.

“As Aqua continues to grow our portfolio of Waikiki boutique hotels, it is very important to have a strong team at each property to maintain the high service standards and expectations we’ve set, said Mike Paulin, owner and CEO of Aqua Hotels & Resorts.  “Robin Harlow’s experience in these areas, and long association with the Kaanapali Beach Hotel, makes her a natural choice and a significant addition to the Aqua team.”

“I’m excited to be part of the Aqua Palms family, said Harlow.  “I’m looking forward to working with Aqua to advance its presence in Waikiki.  Aqua Palms enjoys an excellent location and has been beautifully renovated.  It is, unquestionably, Waikiki’s newest hotel in every sense.”

Prior to joining Aqua, Harlow held management positions in sales, operations and owner relations at a number of resort hotel and condominium properties on Maui and Hawaii’s Big Island.  She also served as general manager of some of Maui’s prestigious and largest condominium resorts, including Maui Eldorado, Royal Kahana and Paki Maui.

Most recently, Harlow was the domestic and internet sales manager for the Kaanapali Beach Hotel where she consistently maximized revenue and occupancy levels.

Originally from Long Island, New York, Harlow attended Farmingdale College before moving to Hawaii in 1982.  She is a board member of Soroptimist International of West Maui.
