Morristown, New Jersey, Soon to be Reflagged the Hyatt Morristown
|Morristown, NJ (August 19, 2005) – Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced
Paul Joseph as the new General Manager of the Headquarters Plaza Hotel
in Morristown, soon to be reflagged Hyatt Morristown. A Hyatt industry
veteran, Joseph has recently begun his duties overseeing more than $10
million in renovations that will recreate the property into a distinctive,
contemporary addition to the Hyatt family of hotels. Located in the heart
of “hip and historic” Morristown, New Jersey, renovations are expected
to be completed by early October.
As GM, Joseph is responsible for overseeing all operations at the hotel, including the renovations of its rooms and commons areas, especially the restaurant and bar; and supervising the hotel’s, sales, financial management, rooms, housekeeping, food and beverage services and human resources functions. Joseph’s appointment marks his eighth management position within the Hyatt organization, including positions at the Hyatt Regency in Jersey City, New Jersey; the Grand Hyatt, New York City; the Hyatt Regency, Irvine, California; the Hyatt Regency, Baltimore; the Hyatt Regency, New Orleans, and the Hyatt Regency, Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Mr. Joseph earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Hotel Management from Bryant College, Rhode Island. He is active in the Morristown Chamber of Commerce and the Morris County Chamber of Commerce. He lives near Morristown with his wife, Kathy, and daughters Emily and Olivia.
