The AmericInn of Ashland has demonstrated superior commitment to exceeding guest expectations and utmost dedication for community relations since opening for business in November of 1995.  The entire lodging system commends the owners and staff of the Ashland AmericInn for achieving the Business of the Year award in recognition of their superior development initiatives, said Arnold Angeloni, Chief Executive Officer of AmericInn International, LLC.

It has been said that the Ashland AmericInn is so unique and impressive that it is almost impossible to draw comparisons. Spread over nearly three acres along 2,000 feet of Lake Superior shoreline, todays AmericInn bares little physical resemblance to the 49 room motel acquired by Goldin Properties Corporation, LLC in 1997.  The first expansion project initiated in 1999 consisted of 16 deluxe rooms and suites, half of which now provide balconies or patios with wonderful views overlooking Lake Superior.

Dedicated to the development of the Ashland area, the second expansion phase for AmericInn began in 2000 and was recently completed on the three acres of land adjacent to the hotel.  The newly expanded lodging facility now offers 30 additional guest rooms, a Splashland water park and indoor recreation center, patio seating with overlook to Lake Superior and a conference center with 4,500 square feet of meeting and special event space with catering capability for groups up to 400 or more people.  We are so pleased that the AmericInn expansion projects will have such a positive impact throughout the Ashland area, said Steve Goldfine, owner of the AmericInn.  By strengthening its competitive position, the AmericInn of Ashland has become a first-class tourist attraction and a major contender in the hospitality industry.  The people of Ashland have been the heart and soul in making the AmericInn a valuable member of the Ashland area business community and we look forward to extending that success to the Ashland community, adds Goldfine.

Conveniently located off US Highway 2 at 3009 Lakeshore Drive East, the AmericInn of Ashland is quickly becoming one of the areas best known landmarks by providing a unique lodging experience with all the charm and comforts of home.  Complete with upscale amenities including high speed internet access and state-of-the-art conference center, guests may choose from a wide variety of oversized guest rooms and specialty suites with extended stay, fireplace, whirlpool, balcony and patio accommodations.  Featuring Splashland Water Park recreation area with oversized pool, 24 foot lighthouse waterslide with pirate ships, dumping buckets and water cannons, a separate kiddie pool with kiddie slide, kid play area with a "Shipwreck" slide and sandbox, LEGOS and blocks, the inside waterfall whirlpool and the wild river slide outside.  The two-story lobby highlighting the cozy fireside conversation area, hotel gift shop, fitness center and the enhanced continental breakfast with freshly made waffles offered daily, are just a few of the first-rate amenities consistently found at AmericInn.
