A Partnership of Historic Proportions: Historic Hotels of
America Selects Vantis as its New Partner in
Reservations and Revenue Optimization

Calgary, Alberta, Canada May 18, 2005 Vantis, the largest provider of marketing and revenue generation services for independent hotels, car rental companies and airlines, recently announced that Washington, DC-based Historic Hotels of America (HHA) has selected Vantis to provide voice reservation services for its toll-free reservation line, the booking engine behind www.historichotels.org, as well as revenue management support from Vantis dedicated and experienced revenue management team.

In addition to these overall services, Vantis will provide Internet and global distribution system (GDS) services to the nearly 50 HHA member hotels that use the proprietary HE chain code. Vantis will also offer overflow and after-hours voice reservation services, booking engines, revenue management professional services (RMPS), and website and rich media solutions to HHAs 218 individual member hotels.

Kelly Blake, president of Vantis, believes the companys extensive industry experience in combination with HHAs unique and established brand creates a strong business partnership.

With Vantis supporting HHA member hotels through revenue producing programs, and by marketing the HE chain code and www.historichotels.org, we believe Historic Hotels of America will become the strongest niche brand in North America, Blake commented. Vantis is committed to the future of Historic Hotels of America. We will work hand-in-hand with the HHA staff and member hotels to ensure we consistently offer programs, services and support that deliver increased revenues.

Having one point of contact for the HHA central reservations program, call center, website, HE/GDS as well as private label voice services for the hotels and private label booking engines for property websites were all key components in the selection of Vantis, said Thierry Roch, executive director of Historic Hotels of America. We were also particularly impressed with their experience, and expertise, with revenue producing programs already being used by their current clients with impressive results. This bodes well for our members, all of whom are hoping to increase their bookings through the unique supplementary marketing channel HHA represents."

While some Historic Hotels of America member properties, including the Napa River Inn, the Brown Palace and the Grove Park Inn, were already Vantis clients, Vantis is pleased to now have an established relationship with the organization as a whole.

Our desire to work with Historic Hotels of America goes back many years, said Lisa DAngelo, director of business development with Vantis. We have always felt that Vantis was a perfect fit to support such a fine collection of hotels and esteemed hoteliers. We realize that HHA is like no other brand, and we pride ourselves on delivering the individualized consultation and recommendations that will impact each unique property. We are very excited to launch this partnership of historic proportions.

The new agreement between Vantis and Historic Hotels of America came into effect May 1, 2005.
