Serenata Product Release: New @folio Solution Enables
Hotels to Send Their PMS Folios by Email

Munich, 1 May 2005 - Serenata IntraWare AG, leading provider of integration services, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and data warehousing solutions, announces the release of Serenata @folio. Serenata @folio provides a web-based user interface for retrieving and selecting folios from the hotel’s Micros-Fidelio Property Management System (PMS), verifying the email address of the recipient, and sending the folio by email as a PDF attachment. A batch folio option is also available, which allows users to send selected or all invoices of one company, agent or guest in one go.

What is more, the new product also enables the viewing and printing of night audit reports of a selected date and the forwarding of these reports by email, which is extremely useful for the internal reporting within the hotel or hotel chain.

Since @folio provides chain-wide Intranet access to folios and night audit reports of all hotels running the application, it is also very convenient for hotel chains.

Serenata @folio has already been installed and is running successfully at the Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon and the Four Seasons Hotel Sydney. The five-star hotels anticipate streamlining their direct billing handling and reducing process costs with Serenata @folio.

This process is common for all direct bills. The manual preparation, editing and posting of these invoices is extremely time-consuming and cost-intensive. Serenata @folio allows you to send these folios by email and hence supports hotels in speeding up their billing process, providing a professional image to their customers, and saving processing costs.”

Numerous hotels and hotel groups have already expressed a keen interest to proceed with Serenata @folio, given its simple web-based user interface and rapid return on investment, estimated at two to three months.
