| Huntington Beach, California - May 5, 2005, Larry Broughton, president
of Broughton Hospitality Group (BHG) headquartered here, has announced
the promotion of James E. Sichta to Partner & Vice-President-Operations.
Previously, Sichta was Director of Operations and served as General Manager
at several BHG hotels beginning in 2001. As a member of BHG's executive
team, Sichta provides leadership and direction for general managers at
all BHG properties in the areas of Rooms Management; Food & Beverage
Management; Guest Services/Satisfaction; Human Resources as well as
owner/investor reporting.
BHG properties include Hotel Huntington Beach in Huntington Beach, CA ; The Georgian Hotel in Santa Monica, CA ; Wine Valley Inn, Santa Ynez Valley, CA ; Inn of the Spanish Garden, Santa Barbara, CA, ; Hotel Mojave in Palm Desert, CA and Casa Iguana Hotel in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Prior
to joining BHG, Sichta built a career of progressive responsibility in
the hospitality industry, including key management positions with Outrigger
Lodging, Best Western, Crowne Plaza, Princess Hotels and was Resident Manager
of the 4-diamond Marquis Resort in Palm Springs. Sichta's upbeat
management style is complemented by his hospitality industry training and
education. He has obtained accreditation with the American Hotel
& Lodging Associations as a Certified Rooms Division Executive (CRDE),
and graduated with honors with a degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management
from Echols International Hotel School in 1988.
