Wynn Las Vegas, Chicago Convention and Tourism Bureau Select TravelCLICKs iHotelier CRS Platform
.

Over 200 hotels added within
the first five months of 2005

CHICAGO (June 21, 2005) TravelCLICK announced today that over 200 hotels have implemented the iHotelier central reservation system (CRS) in 2005.  Properties such as Wynn Las Vegas, The Ritz Paris and The Hotel Nikko Düsseldorf have implemented iHotelier for enhanced website and/or GDS connectivity this year.  Additionally, TravelCLICK announced that the Chicago Convention and Tourism Bureau has selected iHotelier to provide reservation services for its international website.

iHoteliers state-of-the-art OneScreen booking engine is the first travel industry reservation software application developed using Macromedia FLASH technology.  Performance-rich FLASH enables OneScreen to show a single, dynamic booking screen.  With just one click, inventory and rates are displayed in real time, creating a fully interactive shopping environment for consumers.  iHotelier also includes a comprehensive suite of email marketing tools and dynamic packaging capabilities.

TravelCLICKs multi-year agreement with the Chicago Convention and Tourism Bureau (www.choosechicago.com) includes OneScreen booking capability to power the bureaus travel portal.  The website also features iHoteliers new area search function.  Over 125 downtown and suburban hotels will be available on the site.  Combined with the OneScreen booking engine, area search provides an important sales advantage for these properties as they compete for area travelers.

The area search technology enables the guest to find a hotel based on location, dates of stay, amenities, price and/or corporate and promotional codes.  Results can be sorted by star rating, price or alphabetical order, and can also be shown in a comparison view, allowing the guest to easily distinguish hotel details.  The guest ultimately books their reservation via the OneScreen booking engine.

The iHotelier OneScreen is setting the user-interface standard for web-based booking engines and becoming the online CRS of choice for hotels worldwide, said Bob Post, President and CEO of TravelCLICK.  Marrying the dynamic functionality of the OneScreen booking engine with the new area search capability makes the iHotelier system an ideal fit for area convention and tourism bureaus as well as independent chains.

Additional recent enhancements to the iHotelier CRS include improvements to the email marketing tools and the ability to modify reservations on the OneScreen.  Future enhancements include the ability to survey guests at the point of sale, offer geographical maps on the reservation confirmation screen and the integration of incremental revenue services, such as meal plans and spa services, on the OneScreen interface.
