Hosted Server PMS Solution Gaining

South Plainfield, NJ, June 1, 2005 - Ramesys announces that many of their long term customers using ImagInn, their industry standard UNIX system, are now enjoying the benefits of their new Entirety solution. 

Entirety, a full service, multi-property, web enabled, Windows solution has been the choice of new business for the company for over three years, and is now gaining popularity with Ramesys’ US customer base of over 2,000 hotels.

Rick Kennedy, CEO of Ramesys states, “Although ImagInn continues to be an industry leader some long term customers are choosing to move to the new platform, Entirety. Some of the benefits of Entirety are an integrated sales and catering package, a customer relationship management (CRM) or data management overlay to support data mining, frequent guest and marketing campaigns, and real time integration to web reservations.”

The Craftsman Inn, a long term Ramesys customer, recently switched to Entirety to satisfy their desire for real time Web Reservations.  According to Alan Moyer, front office manager at The Craftsman, “We have found the Entirety solution to be very full featured and are impressed with the features that the system has.  Learning how to use Entirety is just like anything else you learn: the more you use it, the more familiar you become with it.  After time you don’t even have to think twice about what you are doing.”

Another customer, Pat Angelastro, who owns multiple hotels on the New Jersey shore, is hoping to capitalize on the Entirety multi-property and web capability.  He is setting up one system to host others that will access the main server through the web.  The Quarter Deck Inn uses ImagInn PMS and the Drifting Sands Motel is in the process of having Entirety installed.

Entirety is run in an ULTRA thin environment.  A one time download of a thin desktop program enables the user to have access to the system from any PC.  High speed cable connectivity and web access are all that are additionally required.

Many of the smaller property chains are selecting a hosted solution, where their server is located at a secure environment or server farm.  The ease of the technology, along with moving the network management to the experts greatly simplifies the IT at the property level, which allows managers to truly focus on operations.

Since January, Ramesys has 15 new name Entirety installations consisting of chains and independents in addition to a similar volume of new ImagInn installations.  Andrew Sanders, director of sales and marketing, said, “Though our UNIX based solution ImagInn continues to be enhanced and developed, we are pleased to compete successfully at a higher level of operational requirement for new business and offer our loyal customers Entirety as an alternative that is still simple to use, simple to manage and affordable.
