VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - March 31, 2005 -- Hilton Hotels Corporation (NYSE:HLT) has announced the opening of the new Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront hotel, a magnificent 21-story, 291-room property that brings a new level of casual elegance to Virginia Beach.

The Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront is owned by Thirty First Street L.C., managed by Professional Hospitality Resources, and operated under a franchise license agreement with Beverly Hills-based Hilton Hotels Corporation.

With its spectacular oceanfront location, the new hotel offers first-class accommodations, a full array of resort amenities and breathtaking views of the Atlantic Coast. The hotel is the centerpiece of the dazzling upscale 31 Ocean entertainment and hospitality complex that features an oceanfront park with entertainment venues, an array of fashionable retail shops, a top-notch fresh seafood restaurant and outdoor bar. The hotel is topped off by the rooftop Sky Bar and an "infinity pool" perched 180 feet above the beach with dramatic ocean views.
