Tiburon Hospitality Management Sees 400% Growth
in Lead Generation Due to StarCite
RapidRFP Technology

.

Carefree, AZ - April 18, 2005 - Carefree-based Tiburon Hospitality Management has increased its lead generation to its three resort proprietary web sites by 400% over 2003, according to Lisa Stice, corporate director of internet marketing for THM.

According to Stice, in 2004, Tiburons three properties captured 1,000 leads for corporate meetings, weddings, reunions, catering and other special events due to a custom RapidRFP developed by Philadelphia-based StarCite, Inc.  This tactic, combined with Stices direction to include a link on every website page relevant to planning meetings, catering events or social affairs at each resort, has contributed to the significant increase.

One of the keys to Tiburons extremely successful e-commerce strategies is the linking strategy they utilized with deployment of our technology, said Bob Bennett, vice president of product marketing for StarCite, Inc.  Each page of Tiburons web site links to a RapidRFP,

urging users to act, with a promise of a 24-hour response.  This strategy is obviously paying off in revenue conversions and additional opportunities.

Delivered electronically, Stice says Tiburons three properties can quickly analyze each opportunity, manage the leads more effectively and respond even faster to the request.  StarCites lead management capabilities also provide Stice and the directors of sales and marketing with visibility to all Tiburon property leads from all StarCite channels.  As a result, they can quickly assign new leads, verify response and manage the success of specific marketing campaigns all with one login.

Stice says the linking strategy combined with the custom RapidRPF, has significantly opened up a whole new source of lead generation for small meetings, weddings, family reunions and other catered affairs.  These leads are also in addition to several hundred others that StarCites enterprise corporate customers sent to Tiburon websites through the StarCite Online Marketplace, Stice said.

Interestingly enough, a majority of the leads are from the non-professional or independent meeting planners and family members who are looking to book these events, she said.

Planners can complete and send a RapidRFP in as little as two minutes.  They can also build a room block using the RapidRFP, but are required to complete just six meeting details, along with their contact information.  As the booking window continues to compress, especially for small corporate meetings that Tiburons properties host, planners and suppliers are increasingly turning to standardized electronic RFPs as a more efficient, cost-effective means to book meeting business.

In addition to its strategic partnership with StarCite, Inc., Tiburon Hospitality has also partnered with its web development firm, Interactive Sites of Scottsdale, which has led to a 136% increase in web bookings for the company in 2004 over 2003.  This past January, Tiburon also received a Silver Adrian Award from the Hotels Sales & Marketing Association International *HSMAI) for its design and functionality of the Tiburon Hospitality website.
