SECURE-RES Helps Pacifica Hotel Company
Achieve 120% Revenue Gain

Jacksonville, FL— April 19, 2005 — Pacifica Hotel Company achieved a 120-percent gain in website revenue for the first quarter of 2005 versus the same quarter of 2004 and attributes its success, in part, to the Internet marketing services provided by SECURE-RES of Jacksonville.

Pacifica, which operates 23 hotels in California, began working with SECURE-RES at the start of 2003. At that time, SECURE-RES implemented an Internet booking engine for the hotelier, which proved to be highly successful.

“SECURE-RES provided us with a very economical and user-friendly reservations solution,” said Lori Keller, vice president of sales and marketing for Pacifica. “Because of its success, we decided to add the company’s total-solutions package, which includes search-engine optimization, pay-per-click ad management and email marketing programs. I look forward to seeing even more growth related to the additional of these SECURE-RES services.”

The 120-percent increase represented an additional $1 million in revenue for Pacifica.
The new SECURE-RES services required modifications to the Websites of each of Pacifica’s properties, according to Joe Hyman, president of SECURE-RES.

“Our search-engine optimization and pay-per-click management services help our clients’ Websites appear at the top of the list when customers search the Internet to find accommodations,” said Hyman. “This requires painstaking implementation of highly specialized techniques. And it’s critically important to get it right, because 65 percent of searchers click only on one of the top ten links produced by their searches.
According to Hyman, SECURE-RES uses strategically developed key words, meta tags and other techniques to help clients achieve a measurable increase in the number of hits their sites receive.
