Robert Filipelli Named Arizona Biltmore's Director of Sales & Marketing

PHOENIX, Ariz. (April 12, 2005) - The Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa has named Robert Filipelli the historic resort's director of sales and marketing.

With 22 years of experience with luxury hotels and resorts, Filipelli comes to the Arizona Biltmore from the Wyndham El Conquistador Resort & Golden Door Spa and Las Casitas Village & Golden Door Spa in Puerto Rico. Based in Miami, he served as director of sales and marketing for the two sister properties since 2000. Previous positions include director of sales, Fontainebleau Hilton Resort & Towers, Miami; and director of sales, The Pointe Hilton Resort on South Mountain, Phoenix.

"Robert Filipelli is uniquely qualified to lead the Arizona Biltmore's extensive sales and marketing effort, with the resort's 100,000 square feet of meeting space and the second largest number of guest rooms in the state," said Sean Maddock, general manager.
