ATLANTA (April 18, 2005) - InterContinental Hotels Group announced
today the opening of its latest 472-room Crowne Plaza hotel in Cleveland,
with plans to complete a $2 million renovation by end of 2005. There are
now 4 Crowne Plaza hotels with more than 1,300 guestrooms in the state
of Ohio with the addition of the Crowne Plaza Cleveland City Centre. The
InterContinental Hotels Group portfolio in Ohio is represented by six of
its brands including the upper upscale, upscale, full service, limited
service, upscale extended stay and mid-scale extended stay segments with
120 hotels and more than 15,000 rooms.

The Crowne Plaza Cleveland City Centre, which is owned by Lehman Brothers and managed by Driftwood Hospitality Management, under a license agreement with a company in the InterContinental Hotels Group, is located at 777 St. Clair, Cleveland, Ohio, 44114. Pimento's Ristorante, the hotel's restaurant, features Italian cuisine
seven days a week, offering a casual atmosphere for breakfast and lunch
and a formal setting for dinner. Pimento's Lounge and the Green Olive Bar
offer light fare and cocktails during lunch and dinner.
