|THE WOODLANDS (HOUSTON), TEXAS, March 2005 ... Benchmark Hospitality
International has announced the recipients of its annual Top Sales Executives
Awards. Presented at Benchmark's National Sales Meeting, held recently
at North Maple Inn in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, award winners were selected
from among more than 125 sales and marketing professionals system-wide.
Awards are given out based on exemplary sales performance, team participation,
and strong leadership exhibited throughout the year.
Recipients of Benchmark's 2005 Top Sales Executive Awards were as follows:
The top award, Sales Executive of the Year, was given to John Hines, Senior
Sales Manager for North Maple Inn.
The Director of Sales & Marketing of the Year Award was presented to
Sherrie Huneke of Chaminade, located in Santa Cruz, California.
The Sales Leader of the Year Award was presented to Sheila Manzanares,
Director of Sales at Cheyenne Mountain Resort, located in Colorado Springs,
Other Sales Executive Awards and recipients included the Complete Meeting
Package Sales Award, received by David Sneider of Scottsdale Resort and
Conference Center; the Rookie of the Year Award, which went to Sarah Townsend
of Virginia Crossings Resort, located in Richmond; and the Benchmark Bulldog
Award, presented to Cheryl Gilbertson of The Northland Inn, located in
Benchmark Hospitality International, an independent hospitality management
company based in The Woodlands (Houston), Texas, operates resorts, conference
centers and hotels both domestically and internationally.
Benchmark's Award of Excellence went to six sales executives, including
Penny Bergsten, Cheyenne Mountain Resort; Marcus Boray, Scottsdale Resort
& Conference Center; Laura Caponigro, Chaminade; Christi Hall, The
Chattanoogan; Laurie Kightlinger, Lansdowne Resort near Washington, DC;
and Jennifer Phillips, The Georgian Terrace Hotel of Atlanta.
