Denver�s Westin Tabor Center
Appoints Key Executives

DENVER, Colo. � March 30, 2005 �  The Westin Tabor Center is pleased to announce the promotion of Margie Fouracre and welcomes Joshua Alderete and Peter St. John to its team.

Margie Fouracre�s new responsibilities as director of operations include continuing to oversee the front office and Service Express. In addition she will oversee banquets, culinary, the Starbucks kiosk and the Augusta hotel restaurant.  In 2000, she opened The Westin Westminster as the director of rooms, where she also held the position of operations manager.  Margie transferred to The Westin Tabor Center in November of 2002 as director of rooms.  She began her career with Starwood in 1989 in Southern California.  Her goal is to one day be a general manager. She received her bachelor�s degree from the University of Denver with a major in business administration. 

Joshua Alderete joins the Westin Tabor Center team as the banquet manager. His role will be to oversee the activities that take place in the banquet department. Joshua previously worked at the Sheraton Four Points Culver City in Culver City, Calif., where he was the director of food and beverage. He�s been with Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide since 2000, but has been working in the hospitality field since 1994.  Joshua�s experience is beyond food and beverage - he has worked as a director of catering and convention services in New Mexico. As a Six Sigma Green Belt, Josh will bring more Six Sigma experience to The Westin Tabor Center. He earned a bachelor�s degree in economics and an associate�s degree in foreign languages from the University of San Francisco.  He speaks three languages � English, Spanish and Russian.

Peter St. John transferred from Sheraton Four Points Denver Southeast and has been promoted to executive chef. His responsibilities include overseeing the Augusta restaurant, room service and all the activities in banquet and catering. He began his career with Starwood last fall, with the Four Points Denver Southeast.  Prior to coming to Denver, he worked at various restaurants and hotels in New Mexico, Kansas City, Michigan, California, Texas and Florida.  Peter received much of his education in Munich, Germany.  He is fluent in German and can speak basic Spanish.
