Winnie Chiu Appointed Director of Human Resources
for the Sheraton Hong Kong Hotel & Towers

Hong Kong, 22 March 2005 -- Mrs. Winnie Chiu has been appointed Director of Human Resources at the Sheraton Hong Kong, overseeing the Human Resources and the Training and Development functions of the property.

Winnie has over 20 years of experience working as quality driver emphasizing on people development, recruitment and strategic retention initiatives.  

She holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration majoring in Organizational Behavior and Industrial Relations from the University of Regina in Saskatchewan, Canada and a Master in Arts majoring in Human Resource Management from the Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. Prior to joining the Sheraton Hong Kong, Winnie worked for the Hong Kong Jockey Club as Human Resource Manager, Corporate Services where the Club won the first Gold Training Excellence Award on Football Launch in 2004 organized by the Hong Kong Management Association.  She had also worked for SUNDAY Communications Limited as HR Director and had been with NCR (AT & T Global Information Solutions) in Sydney, Australia for more than 5 year working as Senior Human Resources Officer. 

Leveraging her extensive experience and strength in recruitment and retention, the appointment of Winnie shall bring great value to the growth and development of the Sheraton Hong Kong.
