International has announced the appointment of Scott Spann as general manager
for The Chattanoogan, a 202-guestroom hotel located in the heart of Chattanooga,
Tennessee. Sam Haigh, chief operating officer, made the announcement.

Scott Spann has previously served in several positions of increasing responsibility within sales, food & beverage and operations for leading hotel brands in California, Virginia and Texas, including a period as assistant general manger for the Hayes Conference Resort & Spa of San Jose. While under Spann's leadership, hotels have received numerous awards for service excellence. He is a graduate of Oklahoma State University. Mr. Spann and his family have relocated to Chattanooga.
