 Greg Horner Named Director of Restaurant Sales and Marketing for Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants


SAN FRANCISCO, (March 22, 2005) – Greg Horner has been appointed Director, restaurant sales and marketing for Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants. In this role, Horner is responsible for the sales development and marketing activities for the company’s 39 restaurants across the country. He will provide creative and strategic direction to maximize the top-line revenue performance of existing and newly opened restaurants.

“Greg brings extensive hospitality marketing experience to Kimpton, which will be a tremendous resource to each of our individual and diverse restaurants,” said Andrew Freeman, vice president of public relations and strategic partnerships for Kimpton. “Greg will work closely with the restaurants’ Chefs, General Managers and Directors of Catering to identify and pursue opportunities to attract new guests and expand our loyalty programs for our existing guests.”

Prior to Kimpton, Horner worked with Joie de Vivre Hospitality as director of hotel marketing. In this position, he led the marketing efforts for a collection of 25 businesses, including hotels, restaurants and spas. Before Joie de Vivre Hospitality, Horner worked as Marketing Communications Manager for Jamba Juice Company. During his tenure at Jamba Juice, he helped open and market over 300 new Jamba Juice stores nationwide.

Horner is a graduate of Old Dominion University in Virginia.
