The new rooms were designed by Hilton Hotels Corporation's in-house team of designers, and developed by Remington Hotels. The Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront is owned by Ashford Hospitality Trust and managed by Remington Hotels and operated under a franchise license agreement with Beverly Hills-based Hilton Hotels Corporation.

The redecorated guestrooms and suites feature the Suite Dreams(R) Bed by Hilton, a highly-functional workspace, specially designed chairs, two phone lines, data ports, and wireless high speed internet. The three top floors of the hotel have been designated as concierge floors, and the penthouse floor offers additional amenities to frequent travelers who are members of the Hilton HHonors(R) rewards program.

With the renovation, the Hilton now gives meeting planners new reasons to choose the hotel for their next business meeting or training session. The hotel offers 35,000 square feet of ground-floor flexible meeting and conference space. Also new to the hotel will soon be one of Florida's largest STARBUCKS, which -- like the hotel's plush Spa Olimpia -- is expected to be a hit not only with visitors to the hotel but with St. Petersburg locals as well.
