For Internet Based Assessment Program

State College, PA - January 17, 2005 - The Shaner Hotel Group (SHG) announced today the development and implementation of the company's Internet based on-line assessment program.  The program is designed to assess the skills learned through training conducted at the property level. "The development of this on-line assessment tool will save Shaner Hotels a great deal of time, which will translate into a substantial dollar savings," said Dipi Sawhney, Vice President of Shaner Hotel Group. 

Mr. Sawhney went on to say, "What we have developed, with the assistance of HotelTraining.com, is a specialized employment program for Shaner Hotels.  This company-wide employee assessment program allows us to monitor the status as it pertains to participant�s completion of our Human Resource training modules.  We provide HotelTraining.com with weekly updates of all employee additions and the training modules they are required to complete.  We also provide the names of all employees that are to be deleted from the assessment database.  In return, we receive an updated database each week containing the status of all employee assessment activities.  This database is then merged into our Human Resource database so that all employee records are up to date."
