Cendant Hotel Group Appoints Daniel Del Olmo as
VP of International Marketing and Marc Stanley
as VP of International Sales

PARSIPPANY, N.J. (Jan. 14, 2005) � Cendant Hotel Group International today announced the appointments of Daniel Del Olmo as vice president of international marketing and Marc Stanley as vice president of international sales.

Daniel Del Olmo, who will be responsible for marketing Cendant�s Ramada®, Days®, Howard Johnson®, Wingate® and Super 8® brands outside North America, formerly served as director of marketing for the Wingate Inn and AmeriHost Inn® brands.

Prior to joining Cendant in 2002, he served Amadeus Global Travel Distribution LLC in Miami as director, corporate and marketing communication.  Prior to that, he was director of marketing and e-commerce for the Americas Division of Sol Melia Hotels and Resorts, based in Miami. 

Del Olmo earned his bachelor�s degree in economics in 1996 and his master�s degree in business administration in 1997, both from the University of Limburg in Belgium.  He speaks English, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, German and Portuguese and has extensive experience in international marketing.  He was the recipient of Travel Agent magazine�s Rising Star Award in 1999, 2000 and 2001.

Marc Stanley will be responsible for managing Cendant Hotel Group International�s team of highly experienced sales representatives outside of North America who are focused primarily on driving business to Cendant�s overseas hotels. 

He previously served Marriott International as senior sales and marketing manager for Ramada International in the United Kingdom, Ireland and Scandinavia.  Prior to that, he worked for Jarvis Hotels Ltd. in the United Kingdom, a major Ramada International franchisee, in several sales capacities, serving most recently as director of trade sales. 

Stanley began his career in 1980 with Hilton International Hotels Ltd. in the United Kingdom at the London Hilton on Park Lane.  In 1986 he moved to the Hilton London Kensington, working his way up to account executive in 1987.  In 1988 he became Hilton International Hotels� commercial sales executive.

Cendant recently completed the acquisition of Ramada International, a chain of 204 open hotels representing 27,728 rooms under the Ramada? Plaza, Ramada Hotels, Ramada Resorts and Ramada Encore brands in the United Kingdom, continental Europe including Scandinavia, the Middle East, Africa, the Asia-Pacific region, Australia, Mexico and Central America.
