Tiburon Hospitality Management Website
Receives Prestigious Adrian Award

Carefree, AZ . .February 1, 2005 . . Tiburon Hospitality Management has received a Silver Adrian Award from the Hotel Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) for its design and functionality of the new Tiburon website.

Presented at the 15th annual HSMAI Adrian Awards in New York City on January 24th, the Adrian Awards Competition is considered the largest travel-related marketing awards competition of its kind in the world, attracting more than 1,500 entries from 50 countries.  More than 700 travel and hospitality industry marketing leaders, advertising and public relations executives and media attended the awards gala dinner.

The Adrian Awards were created to honor the best design and development of advertising, marketing materials, public relations and web marketing in the travel and hospitality industry.  The annual competition includes every area of the travel industry including but not limited to hotels and resorts, airlines, cruise lines, car rental agencies, destinations and credit card companies to name a few.

Entries are judged on a graduated point system, ranging on a scale of 0-10, with 10 being the top score.  Judges are asked to evaluate each entry based on its own merit and success with achieving its objectives as outlined in the entry’s Communication Statement.  Judges are comprised of marketing, advertising, public relations and internet professionals as well as leading members of the travel community.

enhanced functionality was developed and implemented by Interactive Sites out of Scottsdale, AZ.

“We have experienced the results and return that an award-winning website can generate.  Our web generated revenues are up 136% in 2004 over 2003,” said Stice.

In addition, Tiburon’s new website has enabled the company to develop and implement new revenue streams for its resorts including on-line gift certificate ordering.  “We will continue to develop new designs and web applications in 2005 to make it easier for the public to purchase products, services and book reservations with ease from any Tiburon resort,” said Stice.
