Hilton International Appoints Greg Seddon and Danny Sukomol to Lead Hilton's National Sales Office in Thailand

Singapore, February 7, 2005�.Hilton International today announced the appointment of two veteran sales professionals to lead its newly formed National Sales Office in Thailand.  The National Sales Office was formed to support the expansion of the Hilton brand in Thailand and provide a complete, one-stop solution for Hilton�s travel partners. The office commenced operations on January 1, 2005.
 
Greg Seddon has been appointed Senior Director of Sales (commencing February 1, 2005) with overall responsibility for managing leisure and MICE business to the four Hilton hotels in Thailand.  These are Hilton Hua Hin Resort & Spa, Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa, Millennium Hilton Bangkok (to open late 2005) and Conrad Phuket Resort and Spa (to open late 2005).

Greg�s experience in sales and marketing comes from more than 30 years in the travel and hospitality industries beginning in Sydney, Australia; followed by key marketing and consultancy positions in Thailand and the Philippines.  Greg has joined the Hilton Family after spending the last decade developing and overseeing business and marketing plans for a range of clients.

Danny Sukomol has also been appointed National Director of Leisure Sales with responsibility for driving leisure sales for all Hilton properties in Thailand.  Danny was

formerly Director of Sales at Hilton Hua Hin Resort & Spa.  Thai born and raised, Danny graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration Assumption University (ABAC) and an MBA from Sripatum University in Thailand.  Danny has 18 years experience in the travel and tourism industry and has built a reputation based on his enthusiasm and charisma.

Hilton in Thailand:  Hilton International manages two properties in Thailand with three more in the development stage. The two resorts now open for business include the 685-room Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa which was rebranded as a Hilton in October 2004 following a multi-million dollar renovation program, and the 296-room Hilton Hua Hin Resort & Spa which is located three hours south west of Bangkok. The two hotels in pre-opening stage are the 542-room Millennium Hilton Bangkok which is set to open late 2005 and the 108 room Conrad Phuket Resort and Spa due to open end 2005.  The group also has plans to open the 200-room luxury low-rise Hilton Krabi Resort and Spa on the beach-front of Krabi in 2007.

Hilton International (HI), an operating division of the UK based Hilton Group plc, owns the rights to the Hilton brand name throughout the world, with the exception of the USA. HI operates 394 hotels, with some 253 branded Hilton, 46 of which under the Hilton Worldwide Resorts, plus 141 under the mid-market Scandic brand.
