Maureen O’Hanlon Heads the 19-member Board
of Directors for the Hospitality Sales &
Marketing Association International

MCLEAN, VA (Feb. 10, 2005) -- Hospitality sales and marketing executive Maureen O’Hanlon, senior partner at The Prism Partnership, heads the 19-member Americas board of directors for the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) as its chair.

In this leadership role, O’Hanlon will guide the organization’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors for the second year of a two-year term that began January 2004.  Board members are sales and marketing executives throughout the travel and hospitality industry.

Newly elected to the board to serve two-year terms are: 

  • Andrew Jordan, executive vice president, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts
  • Barb Bowden, director of Revenue Management, Peabody Hotel Group and representative of the HSMAI Revenue Management Special Interest Group
  • Doug Price, senior vice president of Professional Development, IACVB
  • Mike Pusateri, executive vice president of Sales, TIG Global and representative of the HSMAI Resort Marketing Special Interest Group
“The board is a dynamic group of smart, talented and experienced professionals who bring a tremendous amount of experience and expertise to the table,” states Robert A. Gilbert, CHME, CHA, president and CEO of HSMAI.  “They are an integral part of the organization, providing insight, ideas and direction.”

The HSMAI Board of directors is directed by a five-member Executive Committee:
