David and Jacqueline O’Hara Appointed to Manage
 the Dhoni Mighili in the Maldives


Maldives, April 4, 2005 – Per Aquum Resorts & Spas is delighted to announce the appointment of David and Jacqueline O’Hara as the new management couple for Dhoni Mighili. David and Jacqueline, who are both from Australia, have worked across a range of top resorts andrestaurants worldwide and their combined experience will ensure they preserve and exceed the besoke, personalised philosophy of Dhoni Mighili.

Prior to taking this position David held the role of Executive Chef to His Majesty King Abdullah II and Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan. During his three year tenure he was responsible for the organisation and execution of Royal events and Government Banqueting operations, the preparation of varied and innovative daily menus, the recruitment of national and expatriate personnel, establishing
benchmarks and consistency of services between palaces and implementing cross-training and team-buildingprogrammes to maximise skills and abilities. These attributes will be invaluable to the team at Dhoni Mighili and David is well placed to combine fresh ideas with the unique philosophy of Dhoni Mighili to create outstanding guest experiences that will not be forgotten. David has also enjoyed key management roles across the world in leading hotels and restaurants suchas Hayman Island Resort Australia, Royal Pines Resort Australia, Clarke’s Restaurant London and The Salty Plum Restaurant Australia.

David has a strong Food and Beverage background and in addition to his role as Management Couple with Jacqueline, he will also head up the Dhoni Mighili kitchen as Executive Chef, creating daily mouth watering dishes that are out of this world. Jacqueline’s background has predominantly been within the management side of the hotel industry, having held positions as Spa and Health Club Manager for Le Royal Hotel, Jordan and Company Manager for M.V. Circa Luxury Cruises, Australia. This experience has enabled her to gain a thorough knowledge of all areas of operations including recruitment, training, food and beverage, spa and reservations.

Whilst in Australia, Jacqueline and David completed an extensive course in Executive Residential Management at the Australian Butler Training School. This has given them an in depth understanding of all aspects of private butler service including protocol and etiquette, service philosophy, housekeeping, workplace safety, financial management, communications, valeting, food and beverage service, security and private and residence management.

This information will enable them to ingratiate the tailor-made butler service at Dhoni Mighili and complement the procedures already in place, thereby ensuring Dhoni Mighili continues to exceed  guest expectations.
