STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. � Oct. 12, 2004 � The Sheraton Steamboat Resort
and Conference Center, the largest conference and banquet facility in northwest
Colorado, has named Jeffrey Keeler as its new food and beverage manager.
Keeler will direct services for the 30,000-square foot-plus conference center; the clubhouse at the resort�s Robert Trent Jones II championship golf course; and three restaurants inside the slope side resort hotel. The Sheraton is part of the Starwood Hotels & Resorts family, a leading international hotel and leisure company. Keeler has extensive experience in the resort industry, most recently serving as food and beverage outlet manager at the Wigwam, a Starwood four-star resort and country club in Phoenix, Ariz., that has regularly been named among the top U.S. golf courses by Golf Digest magazine. Prior to joining Starwood, Keeler owned a company that provided food and beverage, bellman, housekeeping and valet services to East Lake Country Club, a top U.S. facility in Atlanta, that annually hosts the PGA Tour season-ending championships. Keeler sold the company to Aramark Co. in 2003. From 1995 to 1999, he worked for the prestigious catering firm, Potel
and Cabot, and managed an exclusive contract between the catering firm
and Sotheby�s International Auction House in New York City. Later, during
his tenure as dining room manager for the five-star, five-diamond Ritz
Carlton in Naples, Fla., the room was named top seafood restaurant in Southwest
Florida every year by the Miami Herald newspaper.
