Radisson Hotels & Resorts - North America

Two of the new Radisson hotels are located in the state of Illinois, and both are ideally located and suited to cater to both business and leisure guests alike. 

The Radisson Hotel Peoria (formerly a Jumer Hotel) in Illinois recently completed a $3.2 million dollar renovation of all guestrooms and public spaces.  The hotel's 168 guestrooms now feature elegant and bright decor, over-stuffed lounge chairs with ottomans, marble-accented bathrooms, large desks and ergonomic executive desk chairs, custom furnishings and complimentary high-speed Internet access.  Extra comforts are offered in the hotel's 16 suites, including separate living rooms, bi-level accommodations with spiral staircases, plasma screen televisions and large soaking bathtubs. 

The new interior design is carried into the hotel's public spaces, which are accented with valuable antiques strategically displayed throughout the property.  After viewing the unique art collection on display using a specially designed "treasure map," guests can retire to Flagstones Restaurant for hand-cut steaks, fresh seafood and homemade pasta entrees.  Ideal for entertaining important business associates or just enjoying a quiet meal, the restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.  The hotel's meeting space includes more than 5,000 square feet, and features the very latest in meeting technology.

This new Radisson also features exciting dining options, including the regional cuisine at The Willows-An American Grill, or the sport bar atmosphere of The Scoreboard Neighborhood Pub.  In addition, the Radisson Hotel Northbrook is close to area attractions such as the Chicago Botanic Garden, Six Flags Great America, and the Arlington International Racecourse.

Radisson Hotels & Resorts - Europe

Radisson Hotels & Resorts' European partner, Rezidor SAS Hospitality, oversees a new hotel in Ireland, the 120-room Radisson SAS Hotel Belfast.  The hotel features two styles of room: cool, calm and chic Nordic or the warm, bold and vibrant urban design.  Guest rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows and heated bathroom floors.  Suite 7, the hotel's largest one-bedroom penthouse suite, has been lavishly designed and furnished to please the most discerning guests. 

Contemporary dining is available at Filini's, a Mediterranean-style restaurant serving authentic Italian cuisine.  The hotel's restaurant and bar overlooks a spectacular water feature, complete with rock formations and fountains. 

Five modern meeting rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including wireless broadband Internet accessibility, and share a spacious reception area.

Regent International Hotels -- Europe

The second Regent hotel in Europe, which opened in September, is Rezidor SAS' first Regent hotel in Germany.  The Regent Berlin, located in the heart of Berlin, is only a few minutes walk from the city's key commercial, financial, cultural and leisure destinations, such as the Brandenburg Tor, the Reichstag, the State Opera, the Concert Hall and the famous luxury shopping of the Friedrichstrasse. 

The hotel features 204 luxurious guestrooms, including 42 of the most spacious and well-appointed suites in Berlin and a unique rooftop presidential suite.  Many of the rooms have Juliet balconies providing spectacular views over the historical city.  The hotel also offers elegant and discreet meeting and banqueting facilities accommodating up to 150 guests.

More than $3 million will be invested into the hotel, primarily to add an exciting new restaurant and bar by award-winning Chef Yves Mattagne of the Sea Grill in Brussels, one of the world's finest seafood restaurants.

Country Inns & Suites By Carlson   North America

The new Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Dallas- Park Central in Texas is located in the heart of the city's business district, yet offers a personal retreat with comforting touches. 

To make guests feel at home, all of the hotel's 62 spacious guest rooms and suites are furnished with traditional furnishings, rich woods and elegant floral-patterned fabrics personal, and feature personal care bath items and hairdryers, as well as many modern conveniences like coffee makers, irons and ironing boards and cable television. 

The 63 spacious rooms at the Country Inns & Suites By Carlson in Prattville, Ala., are the newest accommodations in the downtown area, and feature the brand's signature traditional architecture and sophisticated residential interior design. 

This new hotel offers many amenities often found at higher-priced hotels such as an indoor heated pool, whirlpool and exercise room, hair dryers in every room, complimentary high-speed Internet access and dataport hookup in all rooms. 
A complimentary continental-plus breakfast is served daily in the breakfast nook. Featured items include fresh baked Danishes and pastries, a selection of fruit, hot and cold cereals, yogurt and toasted waffles with syrup.  For dining throughout the day, the hotel is located near several local restaurants serving a variety of menu specialties.
