The property will undergo a $6 million dollar renovation that includes the addition of Wyndham's brand standards and brand-defining programs such as Wyndham's Room That Performs(SM) guest room experience program, which provides high-speed Internet access in select guest rooms (free of charge to Wyndham ByRequest® members); a two-line cordless speaker phone; a high-performance, ergonomic, Herman Miller® desk chair; upgraded Serta® plush top mattresses with luxury bedding; and, the Golden Door® Bath Care Collection, a selection of body products inspired by the renowned, Wyndham-owned Golden Door in Escondido, Calif. In addition, the hotel will offer Wyndham ByRequest, the brand's guest recognition program, developed by Wyndham to deliver on its brand philosophy of empowering guests to achieve a more customized hotel experience. Multi-Employer Hotel Partners, LP was established in January 2001 to invest in hotel properties located in high-profile, gateway markets. Kennedy Associates Real Estate Counsel, Inc., the managing member of the Multi-Employer Hotel Partners, LP fund, is a Seattle-based, full-service, registered real estate investment advisor. The Wyndham O'Hare marks the second property to be added to the closed-end fund, with additional properties expected to fall in the three- to four-star category. Located one-and-a-half miles from O'Hare International Airport and fifteen miles from downtown Chicago, the Wyndham O'Hare is convenient to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center and walking distance to the Allstate Arena. The hotel offers 30,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, including an 8,700-square-foot ballroom, 14 breakout rooms and an outdoor courtyard for special events. High-speed wired and wireless Internet is offered in the lobby, all meeting space and select guestrooms. Hotel amenities include a 24-hour fitness and business center, an indoor and outdoor pool, complimentary airport shuttle, children's outdoor play area, gift shop and three onsite restaurants.
