 The Falor Companies Select Kor Hotel Group to
Manage the Tides Hotel, South Beach, Miami

LOS ANGELES - Nov. 16, 2004 -- Kor Hotel Group, the Los Angeles-based luxury hotel operator, will bring its innovative style and exceptional service to Tides hotel in Miami Beach, Florida, following an agreement signed with The Falor Companies, owners of the newly acquired historic property.

Kor Hotel Group is well known for successfully positioning distinctive destination hotels that combine progressive design and elegance with dedicated attention to personalized service.

"We look forward to developing Kor's signature style and quality service standards at Tides," said John Arnett, president of Kor Hotel Group. "The property's historic elegance and stylish location complements Kor's boutique collection and will be a strong addition to our portfolio."

Kor Hotel Group's new enhancements at Tides will include its luxury amenities and distinctive, personalized services, as well as the implementation of Kor's centralized reservations.

Tides is Kor Hotel Group's first property outside of California, where the company's current signature boutique hotel collection includes Viceroy Santa Monica, Viceroy Palm Springs & Estrella Spa, Avalon Hotel and Maison 140 in Beverly Hills.

Originally debuted in 1936, Tides is an elegant art deco boutique hotel located on Ocean Drive featuring 45 deluxe rooms and suites each with ocean views. A 2,600 square-foot penthouse showcases a 360-degree view of Miami and the ocean. The hotel also features a destination restaurant and a pool with cabanas. It is located at 1220 Ocean Drive Avenue, Miami Beach, Florida.

Kor Hotel Group officially assumes management of Tides on November 15.
