 HSMAI Polling Senior Executives in the Hospitality and
Travel Industry to Select 25 Extraordinary Minds
in Hospitality Sales and Marketing

MCLEAN, VA (Nov. 16, 2004) � Who would you nominate as the most extraordinary sales and marketers of hospitality and travel today?  Whose strategies are truly innovative and clever?  Whose campaigns are standouts?  Who gets results?  Whose work do you wish was yours?  What unique things have you seen this year?

The Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) is polling senior executives in the hospitality and travel marketplace in a quest to select the second annual �25 Extraordinary Minds in Hospitality Sales and Marketing.�

�We are asking everyone to submit choices for consideration from all sectors of the hospitality, travel and tourism industry,� said Robert A. Gilbert, CHME, CHA, president and CEO of HSMAI.

�There is an amazing amount of creativity, intelligence and passion in our profession, which all too often goes unrecognized,� stated Gilbert, adding:  �We see such clever campaigns and brilliant strategies all year long, and as the leading organization of sales and marketing professionals in hospitality and travel we wanted to shed some light on these individuals and create an annual �hot list� of the �25 Most Extraordinary Sales and Marketing Minds in Hospitality and Travel.��

Those chosen for the Top 25 will be invited to be presenters at the Adrian Awards Dinner in New York on Jan. 24, 2005.  �As part of a widespread communications blitz, we�ll spread the word about the Top 25, as well as feature them in a story in the HSMAI Marketing Review,� Gilbert added.

Nominee criteria: A sales or marketing executive for a hospitality or travel product or service whose work is current, or was created and implemented since the beginning of 2003.  The individual does not have to be presently working at the company for which his/her achievements are noted. 

Submission: In less than 50 words, describe why you consider this individual one of the most extraordinary sales and marketers in our industry today, citing what individual initiative or specific accomplishments make them worthy of this designation.  Please include their current company affiliation, title and contact information.
