Green Bay, WI, November 10, 2004 - Dan Dick,
CHA (�Certified Hotel Administrator�), General Manager of the Tundra Lodge
Resort & Waterpark, Green Bay, was recently awarded the prestigious
Wisconsin Innkeepers Association (WIA) 2004 Innkeeper of the Year Award.
This award was presented at the 2004 Wisconsin Lodging Conference & Trade Show, held October 25th and 26th at the KI Convention Center and Regency Suites Hotel. The WIA Innkeeper of the Year Award annually recognizes one individual for outstanding leadership in the Wisconsin lodging industry. Dan Dick has served on the WIA�s Executive Committee for the past five
years, holding the positions of Secretary/Treasurer, Vice-Chairman, Chairman-Elect
and 2003 Chairman of the Board. He is a current member of the WIA Board
of Directors and a past Chairman of the Legislative/Tourism Committee.
. Dick also received a special commendation from Governor Jim Doyle, for his dedication to the tourism industry. The Wisconsin Innkeepers Association (WIA) represents over 1,100 hotels, motels, resorts, inns, hotel condos, and bed & breakfasts throughout Wisconsin. Established in 1896, the WIA provides marketing, education, legislative, and information services to Wisconsin�s lodging industry. |
