SACRAMENTO � November 16, 2004 - The 2005 California Lodging
Industry Association (CLIA) Board of Directors is set to begin work in
January. Leading the board as Chair is Terry Westrope, Vice President
of Administration and Finance, Sterling Hotels, San Luis Obispo
Joining Westrope on the 2005 Executive Committee of the CLIA Board are:

Vice Chair � Don Turner, Owner and Operator, Golden Bear Motel,
Berkeley, and President and Owner, Jorad & Company, Napa;

Chief Financial Officer � John J. Reinacher, Managing Director,
Historic Santa Maria Inn and Radisson Santa Maria Hotel;

Immediate Past Chair � Sima Patel, Holiday Inn Express Oakland Airport;

Secretary �� Dilip Patel, Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites,
Mountain View; and President & Chief Executive Officer�Rick Lawrance,
CLIA, Sacramento.
Newly elected directors on the 18-member CLIA Board include:

of G-REM Real Estate Management.
CLIA is California�s 1,000 member lodging and hospitality industry association,
providing legislative, educational, marketing, and profit-oriented programs
for independent lodging owners and operators. CLIA is the largest
independent state lodging association in the nation.
